Travis Scott's new album inspired by Oasis

Travis Scott has revealed his new album was inspired by Oasis and Van Halen.
The music star has been busy working on the follow-up to Utopia, which achieved double platinum status and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.

In a new interview with Variety, Scott - who was wearing a faded Oasis T-shirt - teased a range of genres from Britpop to hard rock have influenced his latest material.

While the 35-year-old star was reluctant to reveal much about the new sound, he did tell Variety he's been listening to Parliament, Oasis, Daft Punk, Don Toliver and Van Halen for their "mega-choruses and hard bass lines".

Scott has been carrying tracks for the new album around on his iPod, which fans spotted attached to his waistband as he attended a FIFA World Cup match in Houston with Stormi and Aire, his children with ex-Kylie Jenner.
